Not sure which Mac you have? Open the Apple menu → About This Mac. If it says Chip: Apple M…, choose Apple chip; if it says Processor: Intel, choose Intel.

How it works

Three steps, once set up.

1Install and sign inOnce, with your LabSync account.
2Export → LabSyncAfter the scan, in the Runyes software.
3Press SendYour lab has the case and confirms the order.

First time you open it

Your computer may ask once.

The app is new, so Windows and macOS double-check it the first time. This happens only once.

Windows

  1. Open LabSync-Setup.exe.
  2. If a blue “Windows protected your PC” box appears, click More info → Run anyway.
  3. Click Yes to allow the install, then sign in.

macOS

  1. Open the .dmg and drag LabSync into Applications.
  2. Open LabSync. If macOS says it cannot check it, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
  3. Sign in with your LabSync account.
For scanner software developers

Start LabSync with the exported files on the command line — any number, any order, or the case folder:

"C:\Program Files\LabSync\LabSync.exe" D:\case\profile.json D:\case\upper.stl D:\case\lower.stl

The install path is in the registry (64-bit view):

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\LabSync.exe
